Get ready to brew up a little creativity! Join us at the Witchy Broom Bar workshop where you’ll transform a rustic 3-foot broom into a one-of-a-kind statement piece on Sunday, October 25th at 1pm at In Working Order Wellness Studio in Castro Valley.

You’ll start off creating a one of kind floral sun catcher charm to hang on your broom or window, you will get to select your shape in person then head on over to the BROOM BAR to choose from an assortment of accents to make it completely your own. Mix, layer, wrap and embellish using a variety of seasonal materials such as:

  • Fall & Halloween florals and greenery
  • Dried and natural elements
  • Moss, leaves and berries
  • Ribbons, lace and fabric
  • Feathers
  • Spooky charms & mini accents
  • Twine and other decorative goodies

Go witchy and spooky, moody and mystical, or warm and fall-inspired—there’s no right or wrong way to create your broom!

Your finished broom makes a fun alternative to a traditional wreath and is perfect for hanging on a front door, displaying on a porch, or adding a little magic to your fall décor.

Your registration includes your 3-foot broom plus a curated selection of florals, greenery, ribbons, natural elements and specialty accents from our Broom Bar. Additional premium embellishments will also be available for purchase.

Location: In Working Order Wellness Studio –19131 Redwood Rd, Second Floor, Suite F, Castro Valley, CA 94546. Parking available in the lot.

Date & Time: Sunday, October 25, 2026 – 1pm to 3pm

Details: Each guest must purchase a ticket and be registered to attend.

Please note: Accent selections will vary, which means every broom will truly be one of a kind. Seats are limited and advance registration is required.

Guest Policy

Unless otherwise specified in the workshop description, unregistered guests are not permitted to attend any workshop, whether it is a public workshop or private party. Bringing an unregistered guest will result in the guest being asked to leave as this interferes with the attention and experience of our registered makers. Makers can inquire about purchasing a guest seat but the request will be subject to approval.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

Due to the customizations of ALL of our workshops, there are NO REFUNDS for workshops. By completing registration you are agreeing to the Cancellation & Refund Policy for all attendees.

  • If you cancel with at least 48-hours notice, your FULL reservation fee will be turned into a store credit that can ONLY be used for a future workshop (within 90 days).
  • Same day cancellations or no-shows will NOT be granted store credit, however you may pick up your project as a take home kit within 30 days of the missed workshop. Please email or call us to cancel.
  • If you do not show up for a workshop for which you have a spot reserved, as well as neglect to pick up your take home kit within 30 days, you forfeit your full payment and project.
  • Hammer& Stain Bay Area reserves the right to make any amendments to this policy at any time. Notification of any changes will be published on this page. If you have any inquiries regarding cancellations or any of our other policies please contact us.

DIY Experience

DIY projects aren't about perfection. Every piece turns out unique, and that's part of what makes it special.

A natural wood workshop means your sign may have random cracks, chips, knots and other natural blemishes that give it character! Some peeling may occur. Fabrics, ceramics, resin, etc. may have minor inconsistencies.

Paint, stain, glue, resin or other materials provided may stain or damage clothes so please dress accordingly, grab your apron, and rollup your sleeves!

We will do our very best to minimize disturbances to your items and make everything look intentional, but due to the nature of the workshop we can make no guarantees.

Please keep in mind, no item is absolutely perfect, as it is hand crafted, but it will certainly be worthy of showing off!
